There is a saying: “You are what you eat” but in in fact:
"You are what you absorb"

The Gut Health has been a hot topic in recent years and what was known in many traditional holistic schools and healing methods for ages, is now confirmed by the science:  the gut is your second brain and your health, immune system and general wellbeingdepends on the its proper functioning and the absorption of nutrients.

Problems such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), constipation, leaking gut, parasites, etc, means that the body does not all nutrients to fully function. There are many methods to help with digestion issues and one of the most effective and powerful is ICV treatment offered in Systematic Kinesiology.

The Ileocecal Valve Syndrome  (ICV)
The Ileocecal Valve is located between the end of the Small Intestine (the Ileum)
and the beginningof the Ascending Colon (the Caecum)
A malfunctioning Ileocecal Valve is a very common conditionand can be a source
of many unpleasant symptoms such as:

  • abdominal pain
  • bloating
  • constipation
  • indigestion
  • IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome)
  • chronic fatigue
  • dehydration
  • digestive disorders
  • nausea
  • food intolerances
  • lethargy, headaches
  • migraines
  • joints pain
  • skin problems
  • acne
  • bad breath
  • water retention
  • T.A.T.T (Tired All the Time syndrome)

This is not a complete list of symptoms of ICV (Ileocecal Valve Syndrome) but it is only to give an idea of problemsthat may be caused by the malfunctioning Ileocecal Valve.

Picture
What is the Ileoceal Valve and what are its functions?

The Ileocecal Valve is made of two parts:
1) a sphincter muscle
2) a valve type of structure at the beginning of the Caecum.

The first function of this valve is to hold the chyme  (chyme is
a mass  of partly digested food that leaves the stomach) in the Small Intestine until the absorption has taken place and only when it is completed, the valve should allow section of the chyme to pass to the Large Intestine.
The second function of the Ileocecal Valve is to prevent the chyme matter that has passed into Caecum (now becoming  faecal matter) from oozing or flowing back into the Small Intestine.

When the Ileocecal Valve is in its normal tone it is closed (but not stuck) and it moves the chyme from the Small Intestine
to the Large Intestine at appropriate intervals.

If the valve is in spasm this valve stays open and leaks allowing toxic matter to enter the Small Intestine and the body starts to poison itself slowly.
If that valve is flaccid it stays shut and the chime starts rotting in the Small Intestine by being unable to move to the Large Intestine.

Both malfunctions of the Ileocecal Valve makes the person, who suffers from this syndrome, poisoned by toxins and unable to fully absorb nutrients needed for a proper functioning body and leaves the person depleted and lacking of energy.
